In class we are learning about degree, radians, etc. Mr. Kelly had us make this thing called the unit circle. I can use this in the future because it tells me everything that I need to know. For example, lets use 45 degrees. If you wanted to find the radians for that it would be pi/4. How do I know this? Well it says right on my chart. You could also use the equation 45*pi/180. The unit circle is just way easier. You can also find the cos(theta) and sin(theta). Lets use 45 degrees again. You will use the coordinates from 45 degrees whichi is square root of 2/2, and square root of 2/2. The cos(theta) will always be the first coordinate and sin(theta) will always be the second coordinate. For tan you will take the coordinates and divide them.
